Germany Visa Appointment Waiting Time in Türkiye (2026)

German missions in Türkiye use a chronological waiting list for short-stay visas: you register with iDATA and a date is later assigned by e-mail.[1][2][3]

Official waiting time

The missions state the wait from registration to decision can reach 11 months.[1] Processing after submission is normally 15 days, up to 45.[4]

The 48-hour rule

An assigned date must be confirmed within 48 hours of the assignment e-mail, otherwise it is cancelled. After confirmation the date cannot be changed; cancellation is possible without refund.[2]
